Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Humanistic Psychiatry (“Humanistic Psychiatry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the individual user (“you” or “your”), governing your access to and use of our websites, services, and platforms.

By accessing or using any portion of our website or platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of all Humanistic Psychiatry websites and platforms.

Humanistic Psychiatry reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revise or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective upon posting and reflected by an updated Effective Date at the end of this document.

You may access and use the Humanistic Psychiatry website through remote connectivity. All content provided on the website is for general informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Use of the website alone does not create a physician–patient relationship. A physician–patient relationship is established only through formal registration, consent, and clinical engagement through our approved platforms.

You may access and use Humanistic Psychiatry’s platforms through remote connectivity. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platforms in accordance with these Terms.

Our platforms may include, but are not limited to:

  • Online scheduling software

  • Secure video conferencing technology

  • Electronic medical record systems

These Terms apply to both desktop and mobile access.

 

California Telehealth

Humanistic Psychiatry provides telehealth services only in accordance with California law. Telehealth services are delivered by clinicians licensed in the State of California and are subject to applicable federal and California regulations governing telemedicine, privacy, and professional conduct.

 

User Representations and Responsibilities

By accessing or using Humanistic Psychiatry’s website or platforms, you represent and affirm that:

  • You are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

  • You have the legal authority to agree to and comply with these Terms.

  • All information you provide through our website or platforms is accurate, current, and complete, and you will update such information as necessary.

No Liability and Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Humanistic Psychiatry, including its affiliates, officers, clinicians, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to:

  • Your breach of any representation made herein

  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights

Termination

These Terms remain in effect for as long as you access or use the website or platforms. Humanistic Psychiatry reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without notice or liability, to restrict, suspend, or terminate access for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Humanistic Psychiatry also reserves the right to pursue appropriate legal remedies, including civil or criminal action, where applicable.
